| First Performance at the Churchill Theatre Bromley on Thursday 10th April 1997. The show ran until 7th Feb 1998 when it competed a Christmas season at the Peacock Theatre in London’s West End. Up to that point it had toured to 20 different cities throughout the UK. |

Recalling the stage show Nick Park says…
“ What was most surreal about it was when the curtained opened for the first time and there was Wallace’s cellar, and Wallace walked down the cellar stairs, and he sat at the table and stated drawing. It was like the opening of the cellar scene in A grand day out. It was uncanny. I had a lot of respect for that company and for Andrew. It could not have been in better hands.”
