Leitmotif is the reoccurring gesture that unifies and unites a collection of short collaborated works performed by Andrew Dawson.

	As a multi award winning artist he has created a unique voice within the theatrical community, and using his technical virtuosity in movement he conveys powerful themes. Leitmotif continues this movement exploration after the Award winning Absence and Presence.
		“I invited a group of leading artists and friends to create work on me, to provoke and challenge me. I became their blank canvas. Together we explored different artistic mediums from film to dance, text and animation."
	Andrew has made two extraordinary short films, one with photographer Nitin Vadukul in New York, and one with Aardman Animations, choreography with Sara Crow (Sara Crow & Co), and Sven Till (Pandora 88), words with Charlotte Medcalf (Complicite),  theatre with Jos Houben (The Art of Laughter), and Trey Lyford (All Wear Bowlers), and a visual treat with Julian Crouch from Improbable.
	The realization is a fascinating synthesis, a Pandora’s Box of elements that make up Andrew Dawson.
